Top 3 Business Models to Start With Less Than $1,000

  1. eCommerce / Digital Storefront – Whether you want to sell your old clothes, sports trading cards, information products, expensive jewelry, or just about anything else that you can imagine, you can do so through either your own website, or through any of the dozens of online marketplaces that exist – like Amazon, Groupon, Etsy, Zulily, etc.
  2. Financial Services – There was a time that real estate was the best professional services business that you could start for the cost of licensing with your state of residence. But the real estate market has become so saturated that there are 7 agents to every home that’s listed for sale.
